✧ We returned from the Prophet ﷺ and came upon a tribe of Arabs. They said: 'We have been told that you have come from this man with good. Do you have any medicine or ruqyah? For we have an insane man in chains.' He said: 'We said: Yes.' He said: 'So they brought the insane man in chains.' He said: 'I recited the Opening of the Book for three days, morning and evening, gathering my saliva and then spitting.' He said: 'It was as if he was released from a tether.' He said: 'They gave me a payment, but I said: No, not until I ask the Prophet ﷺ. So I asked him, and he said: Eat, for by my life, whoever eats by a false ruqyah, you have eaten by a true ruqyah.'
