✧ Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī sent me to Ibn ʿAbbās. He said: Tell him about the exchange: Did you hear from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what we did not hear, or read in the Book of Allah what we did not read? He said: By neither do I say that, but I heard Usāmah b. Zayd relate that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no riba except in a debt, or he said: in deferred payment.
