✧ I was a companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the evening of Arafat. When the sun set, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pushed forward. When he heard the commotion of the people behind him, he said softly, "O people, calm down. Surely, righteousness is not achieved through chaos." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would lower his head when the people crowded around him, and when he found a slight opening, he would proceed until he reached Muzdalifah. He would pray there, combining the Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers.
