✧ I came to Syria and entered upon Abu al-Darda' but did not find him. I found Umm al-Darda', and she said: Do you intend to perform Hajj this year? He said: I said yes. She said: Then supplicate for good for us, for the Prophet ﷺ used to say: The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. At his head is an angel entrusted; whenever he supplicates for good for his brother, he says: Amin, and for you the like. Then I went out to the market and met Abu al-Darda', and he said to me the same, tracing it back to the Prophet ﷺ.
