حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ أَتَى أَبَا أُمَيَّةَ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ صَاحِبَهُ فَلْيَأْتِهِ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ، فَلْيُخْبِرْهُ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّهُ لِلهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. وَقَدْ أَحْبَبْتُكَ فَجِئْتُكَ فِي مَنْزِلِكَ

Translation

✧ "Aba Salim Al-Jayshani came to Aba Umayah at his house and said, 'I heard Abu Dhar saying that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'If one of you loves his companion, let him go to him in his house and inform him that he loves him for the sake of Allah. And indeed, I love you, so I came to you at your house.'"
