حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ رُسْتُمَ عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَامِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِهَا، فَإِنْ أَنْتَ أَدْرَكْتَهُمْ فَصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا " وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ: " فِي رَحْلِكَ ثُمَّ ائْتِهِمْ، فَإِنْ وَجَدْتَهُمْ قَدْ صَلَّوْا كُنْتَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ، وَإِنْ وَجَدْتَهُمْ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا، صَلَّيْتَ مَعَهُمْ فَتَكُونُ لَكَ نَافِلَةً
Translation

✧ O Abū Dharr, there will be over you rulers who will delay the prayer from its times. If you live to see them, pray the prayer at its time" — and sometimes he said: "in your dwelling — then go to them. If you find that they have prayed, you will have already prayed, and if you find that they have not prayed, pray with them and it will be a supererogatory prayer for you.
