حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ قَالَ

ابْنَ آدَمَ، إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنْكَ، ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنْ تَلْقَنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا لَقِيتُكَ بِهَا مَغْفِرَةً بَعْدَ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكَ بِي شَيْئًا، ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ إِنْ تُذْنِبْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ ذَنْبُكَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ تَسْتَغْفِرْنِي أَغْفِرْ لَكَ وَلَا أُبَالِي

Translation

✧ Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ from his Lord, He said: O son of Adam, as long as you invoke and hope in Me, I will forgive you for whatever sins you have committed, O son of Adam, even if your sins were to reach the clouds in the sky and then you seek My forgiveness, I will forgive you and I will not mind.
