حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ أَشْيَاءَ يُؤْجَرُ فِيهَا الرَّجُلُ، حَتَّى ذَكَرَ لِي غِشْيَانَ أَهْلِهِ. فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُؤْجَرُ فِي شَهْوَتِهِ يُصِيبُهَا؟! قَالَ: أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ إِثْمًا، أَلَيْسَ كَانَ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ الْوِزْرُ؟! فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: " فَكَذَلِكَ يُؤْجَرُ

Translation

✧ He mentioned things for which a man is rewarded, until he mentioned to me having intercourse with his wife. They said, 'O Messenger of God, is he rewarded for his desire that he fulfills?!' He said, 'Do you think if it were a sin, would not the burden be upon him?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'So likewise he is rewarded.'
