حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ الْأَحْدَبُ عَنْ مَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ
أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ]، فَأَخْبَرَنِي -أَوْ قَالَ: فَبَشَّرَنِي. شَكَّ مَهْدِيٌّ - أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنَى، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ؟ قَالَ: " وَإِنْ زَنَى، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ

✧ Someone came to me from my Lord [Mighty and Majestic] and informed me—or he said: gave me glad tidings; Mahdī was uncertain—that whoever dies from my community not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise. I said: Even if he commits adultery and steals? He said: “Even if he commits adultery and steals.”
