✧ The Prophet of God ﷺ came to me while I was sleeping in the mosque of Madinah, and he struck me with his foot and said: "Do I not see you sleeping in it?" He said: I said: O Prophet of God, my eyes overcame me. He said: "What will you do when you are expelled from it?" He said: I will go to Syria, the holy blessed land. He said: "What will you do when you are expelled from Syria?" He said: I will return to it. He said: "What will you do when you are expelled from it?" He said: What shall I do, O Prophet of God? Shall I strike with my sword?! The Prophet ﷺ said: "Shall I not guide you to what is better for you than that and closer to right guidance? You will hear and obey, and you will be driven along with them wherever they drive you."
