✧ I was walking with the Prophet ﷺ in the lava field of Madinah in the evening, and we were looking at Uhud. He said: "O Abu Dharr," I said: At your service, O Messenger of God. He said: I would not love that Uhud over there be gold for me, such that a third of it remains with me and I have from it a dinar, except a dinar I set aside for a debt, unless I distribute it among the servants of God like this," and he gestured with his hand to his right, in front of him, and to his left. He said: Then we walked on, and he said: "O Abu Dharr, the ones with the most wealth are the ones with the least reward on the Day of Resurrection, except for one who says like this and like this and like this," and he gestured with his hand to his right, in front of him, and to his left. He said: Then we walked on, and he said: "O Abu Dharr, stay where you are until I come to you." He said: So he went off until he disappeared from me. He said: I heard a murmur and a sound. He said: I said: Perhaps the Messenger of God ﷺ was confronted. He said: I thought about following him, then I remembered his words: "Do not move until I come to you." So I waited for him until he came, and I mentioned to him what I had heard. He said: "That was Gabriel ﷺ. He came to me and said: Whoever dies from your nation not associating anything with God will enter Paradise." He said: I said: Even if he commits adultery and steals? He said: "Even if he commits adultery and steals."
