Translation

✧ Ubayy said: By Allah, I know which night the Night of Decree is. Shu‘bah said: Most of my knowledge is that it is the night which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to stand in prayer during; it is the twenty-seventh night. Shu‘bah only doubted about this wording: “It is the night which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us…” And a companion of mine related it to me from him.
