✧ Word reached me of a ḥadīth from Abū Ayyūb b. Zayd while he was in the land of the Romans. He said: I met Abū Ayyūb and he narrated to me from Ubayy b. Kaʿb that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'When a man has intercourse with his wife and then withdraws without ejaculating, let him wash whatever of him touched the woman, then perform ablution.'

machine translationThe hadith of Ubayy b. Kaʿb is in itself very weak (wāhin), because Ubayy b. Kaʿb retracted from holding to it.
