حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ وَلَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ
Translation

✧ The mu'adhdhin of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would call the adhan and then wait, not making the iqamah until he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ come out. When he saw him, he would make the iqamah for the prayer.
