حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي أَوْ مَعَ ابْنِي قَالَ وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا يُنْصَرُونَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ أَصَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي أَوْ لِابْنِي مَا الْكَلِمَةُ الَّتِي أَصَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ؟ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

✧ I was with my father or with my son. He said, and he mentioned the Prophet ﷺ, so he said: 'This matter will remain mighty and invincible, they will be aided against those who oppose them in it, until twelve caliphs.' Then he said a word which the people deafened me from hearing. I said to my father or to my son, 'What is the word which the people deafened me from hearing?' He said, 'All of them from Quraysh.'
