حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرَ بْنِعُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا فَتُكُلِّمَ فَخَفِيَ عَلَيَّ فَسَأَلْتُ الَّذِي يَلِينِي أَوْ إِلَى جَنْبِي فَقَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ
Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'After me there will be twelve commanders.' Then people spoke, and it became unclear to me, so I asked the one next to me or beside me, and he said, 'All of them are from Quraysh.'
