حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ السُّوَائِيُّ قَالَ
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ لَا يَزَالُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً قَالَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَلِمَةٍ لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا وَضَجَّ النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us and said, "Verily, this religion will continue to be strong until the time of the twelve caliphs." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke a word that I did not understand, and the people became noisy. So, I asked my father, "What did he say?" He said, "They are all from the Quraysh tribe."
