حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي ثَوْرِ بْنِ عِكْرِمَةَعَنْ جَدِّهِ وَهُوَ جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي مَبَارِكِ الْإِبِلِ؟ فَقَالَ لَا تُصَلِّ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ؟ فَقَالَ صَلِّ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْإِبِلِ فَقَالَ يُتَوَضَّأْ مِنْهُ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْغَنَمِ فَقَالَ إِنْ شِئْتَ تَوَضَّأْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ لَا تَوَضَّأْ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about praying in camel resting places, and he said: "Do not pray." He was asked about praying in sheep folds, and he said: "Pray." He was asked about ablution from camel meat, and he said: "Perform ablution from it." He was asked about sheep meat, and he said: "If you wish, perform ablution, and if you wish, do not perform ablution."
