حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ فَلَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ
Translation

- Simāk b. Ḥarb
- Jābir b. Samurah
✧ The mu'adhdhin of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would give the adhan, then wait and not give the iqama until he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ come out. Then he would give the iqama upon seeing him.
