✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to us while we had an unruly young she-camel that we could not control. He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ approached it and wiped its udder, and it filled with milk, and he milked it. He said: And when my father died, he came while I had bound him in his shroud, and I took a palm-leaf fiber and tied the shroud with it. He said: 'Do not torment your father with the palm-leaf fiber'—Ḥammād said it three times. He said: Then he uncovered his chest and removed the fiber. Then he spat on his chest until I saw the droplets of his spittle on his chest.
