حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَحُسَيْنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُضَارِبِ بْنِ حَزْنِ الْعِجْلِيِّ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَ مِرْثَدُ بْنُ ظَبْيَانَ قَالَ
جَاءَنَا كِتَابٌ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَمَا وَجَدْنَا لَهُ كَاتِبًا يَقْرَؤُهُ عَلَيْنَا، حَتَّى قَرَأَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي ضُبَيْعَةَ: مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ إِلَى بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا
