Translation

✧ I heard 'Utbah b. Ghazwan giving a sermon, and he mentioned the hadith. He said: "I saw myself as the seventh of seven with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," or he said, "of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we had no food except trees," or he said, "tree leaves, until the corners of our mouths became sore."
