✧ 'Utbah b. Ghazwan addressed us. Abu Na'amah said: On the pulpit, but Qurrah did not say it. He said: "The world has announced its departure and turned away swiftly. Nothing remains of it but the dregs like the dregs of a vessel. You are in a dwelling from which you will move on, so move on with the best of what you have. I saw myself as the seventh of seven with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; we had no food to eat but the leaves of trees, until the corners of our mouths became sore."
