- a man Min al-Anṣār
✧ A man made his camel trample an ostrich nest while he was in ihram, and he broke its eggs. He went to ʿAlī and asked him about that. ʿAlī said to him: You owe for each egg the fetus of a she-camel, or the mating of a she-camel. He then went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned that to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAlī said what you heard, but come to the concession: You owe for each egg a fast or feeding a poor person.
