حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَعَامَةَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ
كَانَ أَبُونَا إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدًا مِنَّا يَقُولُ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، يَقُولُ: أَهِي أَهِي، صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يَقُولُ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

✧ Our father, when he heard one of us say: 'Bismi-llahi r-rahmani r-rahim,' would say: 'Ah, ah! I prayed behind the Messenger of God ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and 'Umar, and I never heard any of them say: "Bismi-llahi r-rahmani r-rahim."'
