حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ الْكَلْبَ، فَأَكَلَ مِنَ الصَّيْدِ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ، فَإِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، وَإِذَا أَرْسَلْتَهُ فَقَتَلَ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ فَكُلْ، فَإِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ
Translation

✧ When you send your dog and it eats from the game, do not eat, for it has only caught it for itself. When you send it and it kills without eating, then eat, for it has only caught it for its owner.
