حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
ذُكِرَ الْكَبَائِرُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: الْإِشْرَاكُ بِاللهِ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى]، وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَكَانَ مُتَّكِئًا فَجَلَسَ فَقَالَ: وَشَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ، وَشَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ أَوْ: قَوْلُ الزُّورِ فَمَا زَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُكَرِّرُهَا حَتَّى قُلْنَا: لَيْتَهُ سَكَتَ
Translation

✧ The major sins were mentioned in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: 'Associating partners with Allah [Blessed and Exalted], and disobedience to parents.' He was reclining, then he sat up and said: 'And false testimony, and false testimony—or false speech.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept repeating it until we said: 'If only he would be silent.'
