✧ The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He stood up, dragging his garment in haste, until he came to the mosque. The people gathered, and he prayed two rak'ahs, and then it cleared. He turned to us and said: 'Indeed, the sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah [Blessed and Exalted]. He frightens His servants with them, and they do not eclipse for the death of anyone.' He said: His son Ibrahim ﷺ had died. 'So when you see anything of them, pray and supplicate until what has befallen you is cleared.'
