✧ While we were with the Prophet of God ﷺ on one of the roads of Madinah, he said: 'How will you act in a tribulation that erupts in the regions of the earth, as if it were the horns of cattle?' They said: 'What should we do, O Prophet of God?' He said: 'Keep to this man and his companions,' or 'Follow this man and his companions.' He said: So I hastened until I turned aside and caught up with the man and said: 'Is it this one, O Messenger of God?' He said: 'This one.' And it was ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān. Then he said: 'This one and his companions.'
