حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِنَّ مِنْ بَعْدِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَوْمًا يَقْرَؤُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ حَلَاقِيمَهُمْ، يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَخْرُجُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ، ثُمَّ لَا يَعُودُونَ فِيهِ؛ شَرُّ الْخَلْقِ وَالْخَلِيقَةِ

✧ Among my community after me there will be a people who recite the Qurʾān but it does not go beyond their throats. They depart from the religion as the arrow departs from the game, then they do not return to it; they are the worst of creation and creatures.
