حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ

مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ]، وَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللهَ، وَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللهَ، وَلْيَقُلْ حَقًّا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ

Translation

✧ Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him fear Allah [Mighty and Majestic is He], and let him honor his neighbor. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him fear Allah, and let him honor his guest. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him fear Allah, and let him speak what is right or remain silent.
