حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ

عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ فَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ أَبِي فَقَالَ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ وَكِيعٍ

  3. Wakīʿ from his father
  4. Saʿīd b. Masrūq
  5. al-Shaʿbī Fadhakar Hadhā al-Ḥadīth Faḥaddatht Bih Abū

✧ From al-Sha'bi, and he mentioned this hadith. I narrated it to my father, and he said: 'I did not hear it from Waki'.'
