حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ جَوْنِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبِّقِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَى عَلَى بَيْتٍ قُدَّامُهُ قِرْبَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ، فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الشَّرَابَ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ، فَقَالَ: دِبَاغُهَا ذَكَاتُهَا
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to a house in front of which a water-skin was hanging. The Prophet ﷺ asked for water, and they said: It is from an animal that died. He said: Its tanning is its purification.
