حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَزَعَةَ وَعَطَاءٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي قُشَيْرٍعَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَا حَقُّ امْرَأَتِي عَلَيَّ ؟ قَالَ: تُطْعِمُهَا إِذَا طَعِمْتَ، وَتَكْسُوهَا إِذَا اكْتَسَيْتَ، وَلَا تَضْرِبِ الْوَجْهَ، وَلَا تَهْجُرْ إِلَّا فِي الْبَيْتِ

Translation

✧ He asked the Prophet ﷺ, “What is the right of my wife upon me?” He said, “Feed her when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not strike the face, and do not shun her except in the house.”
