✧ He said to the Prophet ﷺ: "I have sworn an oath, like this," and he spread the fingers of his two hands, "until you tell me what God [Blessed and Exalted is He] sent you with." He said: "God [Blessed and Exalted is He] sent me with Islam." He said: "And what is Islam?" He said: "The testimony that there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger; and that you establish the prayer, and give the zakat. Two supportive brothers: God [Majestic and Mighty is He] does not accept from anyone who associates partners after his Islam a repentance." He said: "I said: O Messenger of God, what is the right of one of our wives upon him?" He said: "That you feed her when you eat, and clothe her when you clothe yourself, and do not strike the face, and do not revile, and do not forsake except in the house." Then he said: "Here you will be gathered, here you will be gathered, here you will be gathered — three times — riding and walking and on their faces. On the Day of Resurrection you will complete seventy nations; you are the last of the nations and the most noble of them before God [Blessed and Exalted is He]. You will come on the Day of Resurrection with muzzles on your mouths. The first thing that will speak for one of you is his thigh." Ibn [Abi] Bukayr said: He pointed with his hand toward Syria, and said: "To here you will be gathered."
