حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَيُّوبَ وهِشَامٍ وَحَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَحُمَيْدٍ وَيُونُسَ وَقَتَادَةَ وسِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ، فَأَقْرَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ، وَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ

✧ A man manumitted six slaves of his at his death, having no wealth other than them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew lots among them, returned four to slavery, and freed two.
