حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

تَمَتَّعْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا عَنْهَا، وَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ فِيهَا نَهْيٌ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAffān
  2. Ḥammād
  3. Ḥumayd
  4. al-Ḥasan
  5. ʿImrān b. Ḥuṣayn

✧ We performed tamattu' during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, and he did not forbid us from it, nor did any prohibition concerning it come down.
