حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ وَعَلَيْهِ مِطْرَفٌ مِنْ خَزٍّ لَمْ نَرَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ فَقَالَ
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ وَعَلَيْهِ مِطْرَفٌ مِنْ خَزٍّ لَمْ نَرَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَلَا بَعْدَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: مَنْ أَنْعَمَ اللهُ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] عَلَيْهِ نِعْمَةً، فَإِنَّ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] يُحِبُّ أَنْ يُرَى أَثَرُ نِعْمَتِهِ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ

✧ Imran ibn Husayn came out to us wearing a silk-bordered cloak of khazz, which we had not seen him wear before that nor after, and said, 'Indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whomever Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has blessed with a blessing, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) loves to see the trace of His blessing upon His creation.'
