حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي عِمْرَانُ: إِنِّي لَأُحَدِّثُكَ بِالْحَدِيثِ الْيَوْمَ لِيَنْفَعَكَ اللهُ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] بِهِ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ: اعْلَمْ أَنَّ خَيْرَ عِبَادِ اللهِ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى] يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْحَمَّادُونَ، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَنْ تَزَالَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلُوا الدَّجَّالَ، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ أَعْمَرَ طَائِفَةً مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فِي الْعَشْرِ، فَلَمْ تَنْزِلْ آيَةٌ تَنْسَخُ ذَلِكَ، وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ، ارْتَأَى كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بَعْدُ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْتَئِيَ

Translation

✧ Imran said to me: 'I relate to you a hadith today so that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, may benefit you by it after today. Know that the best of Allah's servants, Blessed and Exalted, on the Day of Resurrection are those who praise Him much. Know that a group of the people of Islam will continue fighting for the truth, victorious over those who oppose them, until they fight the Dajjal. Know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed umrah with a group of his family in the ten days, and no verse came to abrogate that, nor did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid it until he passed away. After that, every person could hold whatever opinion he wished.'
