حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْزَمٍ العَنَزيُ عَنْ أَبِي طَالُوتَ الْعَنزي قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَهُوَ مُغْضَبٌ فَقَالَ: مَا كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَنِّي أَعِيشُ حَتَّى أُخَلَّفُ فِي قَوْمٍ يُعَيِّرُونِي بِصُحْبَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ قَالُوا: إِنَّ مُحَمَّدِيَّكُمْ هَذَا لَدَحْدَاحٌ !، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي الْحَوْضِ: فَمَنْ كَذَّبَ فَلَا سَقَاهُ اللهُ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى] مِنْهُ
Translation

✧ I heard Abu Barzah after he came out from the presence of 'Ubayd Allah b. Ziyad, and he was angry. He said: 'I never thought I would live until I was left behind among a people who reproach me for the companionship of Muhammad ﷺ. They say: "This Muhammadite of yours is a short, stout man!" I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say about the Basin: "Whoever denies it, may Allah, Blessed and Exalted, not give him to drink from it."'
