✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on one of his expeditions. When he finished the fighting, he said: 'Do you miss anyone?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we miss so-and-so and so-and-so.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'But I miss Julaybib. Search for him.' They searched for him and found him beside seven whom he had killed, and then they killed him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and stood over him and said: 'He killed seven, and then they killed him. This one is from me and I am from him. He killed seven, and they killed him. This one is from me and I am from him.' Then he was lifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he placed him on his forearm. He had no bier except the forearms of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until he buried him. And he did not mention washing him.
