✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey. He said: We descended into a low-lying area of the land. He said: The people raised their voices with takbīr. [He said:] Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O people, restrain yourselves, for you are not calling upon one who is deaf or absent; you are calling upon One who is All-Hearing, Near.' He said: Then he called me, and I was close to him, and said, 'O ʿAbdullāh b. Qays, shall I direct you to a word from the treasure of Paradise?' He said: I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might nor power except with Allah).'
