حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا، فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ، وَإِنْ أَنْكَرَتْ لَمْ تُكْرَهْ
Translation

✧ An orphan girl is to be consulted about herself [her marriage]. If she remains silent, then she has given permission; if she refuses, she is not to be forced.
