قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَ الْقَلْبُ مِنْ تَقَلُّبِهِ، إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْقَلْبِ كَمَثَلِ رِيشَةٍ مُعَلَّقَةٍ فِي أَصْلِ شَجَرَةٍ، يُقَلِّبُهَا الرِّيحُ ظَهْرًا لِبَطْنٍ.
Translation

- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ The heart is only called qalb because of its turning over. The example of the heart is like a feather hanging from the root of a tree, turned over by the wind from front to back.
