حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ أَبُو الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: إِنَّ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ شَرَابَيْنِ أَوْ أَشْرِبَةً، هَذَا الْبِتْعُ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، وَالْمِزْرُ مِنَ الذُّرَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ، فَمَا تَأْمُرُنِي فِيهِمَا ؟ قَالَ: أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ

✧ I said to the Prophet ﷺ: The people of Yemen have two drinks—or beverages—this bit' from honey, and mizr from corn and barley. What do you command me regarding them? He said: I forbid you every intoxicant.
