حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ يُنْقَعُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ الزَّبِيبُ، قَالَ: فَيَشْرَبُهُ الْيَوْمَ وَالْغَدَ وَبَعْدَ الْغَدِ إِلَى مَسَاءِ الثَّالِثَةِ، ثُمَّ يَأْمُرُ بِهِ فَيُسْقَى، أَوْ يُهَرَاقُ

Translation

  4. Ibn ʿAbbās

✧ Raisins used to be soaked for the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "He would drink it that day, the next, and the day after, until the evening of the third day. Then he would order it to be given to others to drink or to be poured out."
