Translation

✧ I said to a companion of mine, ‘Come, let us devote this day of ours to God, Mighty and Majestic.’ It was as if we had witnessed the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: ‘And some of them say, “Come, let us devote this day of ours to God, Mighty and Majestic,”’ and he kept repeating it until I wished I could sink into the earth.
