حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ كَانَ يُجَالِسُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ الذُّنُوبِ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يَلْقَاهُ عَبْدٌ بِهَا بَعْدَ الْكَبَائِرِ الَّتِي نَهَى عَنْهَا، أَنْ يَمُوتَ الرَّجُلُ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ، لَا يَدَعُ قَضَاءً
