حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ أَنْبَأَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلَانٍ. قَالَ: فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ. فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى.
Translation

✧ When a man brought his ṣadaqah to the Prophet ﷺ, he would say: O Allah, bless the family of so-and-so. My father brought his ṣadaqah to him, and he said: O Allah, bless the family of Abī Awfā.
