✧ I went on the expedition of Tabūk with the Messenger of God ﷺ. He mentioned the hadith, except that he said: "So I kept holding my mount back from him until sleep overcame me," and he said in it: "What happened to the black, curly-haired, short group?" I said, "By God, I do not recognize these as being from us," until he said, "Rather, those who have livestock at Shabakat Sharkh." I then remembered them among Banū Ghifār, but I did not remember them until I remembered that they were a group from Aslam who were our allies. I said, "O Messenger of God, those are a group from Aslam, our allies."
